Heard All Britian

I would be obliged for some guidance and I apologise in advance for asking such a 'noddy' question.

In the absence of any HF TX equipment I have decided to have a go at Heard All Britian Award.

I have been listening to the net recording the stations heard and the location squares given. However my question is, if I hear a UK callsign (Non WAB member) and the station heard gives out a location or Maidenhead Locator can I record that callsign and claim the WAB square?
