Ailsa Craig

Post by MM0VEG »

Hi All, I along with an intrepid group of fellow amateurs are planning to activate Ailsa Craig on 12th September (weather permitting). I have 4 other amateurs signed up and have space for 6 more on the boat. If anyone is interested please email me at john.wilson34@hotmail.co.uk This will be a very busy activation as it ticks a lot of chasers boxes for SOTA, WAB, COTA, WWFF, IOTA & WAB. The deposit is paid for the boat, permission granted from the RSPB who manage the island, I have been praying to the weather and propagation gods, all we need is a few more ops. Anyone up for it? How many times has NN00 ever been activated? does anyone have TP0795 in NX09? Go on you know you want to.

A quick correction, the squares on Ailsa Craig are NX09 and NS00. All places on the boat are now taken.
