Hello and question on old book number

Post by G1YBB »

Hello all.
I'm recently rekindling my radio activities. Interest has always been there, but it's 20 years since I was last on air!
Being given HF in the meantime was a nice surprise.

Anyway, way back then I was a WAB member, and I see my call and book number is still in the list.

Am I correct in thinking I am still a 'member'?
I'm interested in the SOTA activities, and also the WAB trig (mostly as an activator).

If I am indeed still eligible, is this the place to give members a heads up if I am likely to activate a trig?

Hello Steve,
Your book number is valid for life, so yes, you are still a member. You can of course purchase further book numbers if you desire.

Thanks David, I thought it was. Just checking the old grey cells were not fooling me.
