QRV from Wales

Post by pa3jd »

Very good evening all of U,
From July 19th untill July 31, I will be qrv on HF with the FT897 and an FD3 Windom antenne. (WAB Book no. 18468 (Phone) and no.19207 (CW).First stop is Harwich. Next day 2wards Milton Keynes where we will stay in a famous B&B. From Milton Keynes towards Bletchley Park and then via Bridego Bridge, where the famous Great Train Robbery of Aug. 13th 1963 took place. Still interesting in that history since I was a kid, 9 years old in 1963. From Bridego Bridge to LLandudno and Conwy where we will stay for the weekend. And then, all accross Wales 2wards Carmerthen.
Will also look upon the internet for the 2m and 70cm repeaters. Hope 2 get in contact with you all.
Can anyone tell me which prefix I have 2 use ? G/PA3JD or GW/PA3JD ?
Best 73 de Joop, PA3JD

When we go to Wales we add the W, in terms of WAB using the 'W' could also be an advantage!
Enjoy your stay.

It's neither Joop. It's the one currently being issued, You'd be MW/PA3JD.
