Worked All Lampposts Award?

Post by MM0IMC »

Hi folks,

Does anyone else think there are too many Worked All ... activations? I'm thinking of some of these new schemes for activating stuff that are popping up. Surely we should be trying to keep special activations 'special' and not going down the Italian model of activating anything and everything. I'm half expecting someone to suggest a worked-all-lampposts award, worked-all-supermarkets award, worked-all-public toilets award.

If you worked GB4SLB over the weekend then you can start your toilet collection with the public toilets at Selsey Boathouse, owned by Chichester District Council in case there is an award for number of toilets owned by one council!! ;)
As one end of our antenna was tied off to the back of the toilet building - thats a good one!!

pete, you have been listening to me to much.
lamp post, supermarkets, and public toilets have been suggested by myself before please note you missed electric pylons on the air. lol
But on a more somber mode. i am keen on anything that gets radio amateurs out doors in the public eye and improve the look of the hobby.
73,
mark.
thanks for qso when on GB4SLB loved it...
