WX not reliable enough for big mountain SOTA. Maybe Thursday 10th May???

08-05-18/ 2:30pm local: Bands seem dead inc. 3.760 and 7.160. Only one signal heard on 20m (Russian CW). Tried calling CQ WAB on 40m & 80m from hotel car park in NH45. Thought I might try a drive down into NH25 etc. I like that little road. Devised a route for NH24/P - not far to walk. Conditions need to improve, as I'm sure many will agree! Little point in wasting fuel unless they do. Will try later in afternoon and possibly other afternoons until 13th May.

WAB heard on 3.760 yesterday 07-05-18 in late afternoon but more concerned with polishing extensive scratches out of XYL's posh car after heavy mag-mount came off on the A1M at speed. Not in good books but marriage will survive, I hope.

Thanks to Ken for the latest WAB mag. Like the old QSL cards.
