Judith and myself plan to operate from Cromarty Lighthouse (NH76, Admiralty A3490), for International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend (ILLW), on the 19th and 20th August. We may not activate much on the way up there, due to fast roads, long skip on 40m and the motorhome not liking 80m at all!

We will be setting off on Thursday, 17th There is a chance that as we approach our destination on Friday 18th that we may appear on 40m as we get on the slower roads and get further from the madding crowd.

On Monday 21st we begin the round trip of North Coast 500 for 9 days. These squares will be similar to those recently done by Terry, GM0VWP/M, but will be valid for the GfG award and there, of course, may be some that missed them.

As mentioned, due to RF problems with the van, 40m will be the main stay, but even that has to be kept below 40W. We may try /P in the evening on 80m, but that will depend on the location we are in being suitable to erect the dipole.

We plan to operate ILLW as GS4LAB/P and other operations will be as GM4LAB.
