GERMANY Lights Hunter Award 2016 (Brave Radio Friends)
(In remembrance of William Newman M0BNN)

This year’s Lightshunter Award is sponsored by Brave Radio Friends in remembrance of William Newman M0BNN, who activated a large number of Scottish lighthouses using the callsign MM0BNN/p. He became the first holder of the BRF Certificate of Merit. Bill died on May 31st 2016 and will be sadly missed. The award will show a lighthouse painted by Bill himself.

Requirements: The award is open to all licensed operators and SWLs. During the month of August 2016 contact or hear as many amateur radio stations operating from lighthouses or lightships. A minimum number of ten different lighthouses is required for the award. The log extract must include the lighthouse name or number (preferably ARLHS number) together with the usual data of the QSO.

The award is only available in digital format, (pdf-version of the award) and there is no fee. Send your application by e-mail to: de3ear@darc.de
