G100RSGB Sunday 28th

Post by 2E0FVL »

From TQ12 bands in use depends on conditions of course, but want to use 80m first thing then 40m for most of the day.
QTH is user friendly in terms of noise so could be OK if the band works a little - We live in hope!! :(
Hope to work you, operators John and Pete.

PS. No Internet on site and we don't do gadgets, so will need spotting please!!

Thank you to those that worked us.
Had some good reports about the station, Heil Headset, Elecraft K3, 350w in to a Windom, and out in the country with a good take off.
I decided it was time to head for home at 21:40 local and 695 QSO's wanted 700 but was getting hard work!!
About 10 hours on same frequency on 40m as good as a WAB net!!
Thanks Again.
