K for Kernow NoV's are now available

Post by G1PIE »

A Notice of Variation (NoV) is now available via the RSGB website for the 'K' Regional Secondary Locator (RSL)

The special RSL is available to holders of any Amateur Radio licence (Foundation, Intermediate, Full, Full (Club), Full (Reciprocal) or Full (Temporary Reciprocal)) with a main station address in Cornwall.
The special RSL may be used in a Special Contest Call sign (“SCC”), if the Licence has been varied to permit the use of an SCC.

Subject to the provisions of the variation, the special "K" RSL may be used anywhere in Cornwall, including at an Alternative Address, a Temporary location, when Mobile or (if the Licence so permits) when Maritime Mobile. “Cornwall” includes the Isles of Scilly and St Michael’s Mount.

The NoV permits the use of the “K” RSL from January 1, 2016 until December 31, 2016.

The application process is straight forward and the NoV can be downloaded immediately upon completion. A confirmation email with a URL for the NoV is also sent to the email address you provide.

You will need to quote your Licence Number which can be found near the bottom of page 1 of your licence document (it's in the format 1-nnnn-nnnnnn).
