GB2QLR

Post by G1PIE »

Hi, as you probably know on the 9th September, the Queen will become the longest reigning monarch, beating that of Queen Victoria.

To that end myself and a few friends from the Medway Receiving and Transmitting Society (MARTS) from Kent will be running a special event station GB2QLR for the Queen's longest reign to commemorate the event starting early doors Wednesday 9th September (the day she attains the position ) for 7 days - until midnight the following Tuesday.
www.qrz.com/db/gb2qlr.

Station will be at my Qth powered by Solar panels during daylight hours and using a FTdx3000 & a FT857d for all HF 2m & 70cms using SSB & data.

Many thanks

TTFN
