Members of the Cray Valley Radio Society will be mounting an IOTA DXpedition to Conachair, Hirta Island in the St. Kilda archipelago (IOTA EU-059, IOSA OL02, SCOTIA DI23) between 22-28 July. Operators include Nobby G0VJG, Dave G4BUO, Toby M0TBS, Giles M0TGV, Justin G4TSH, Tony G2NF and Chris G0FDZ. They plan to be QRV as GM3RCV/p (QSL via G3RVC) on HF and VHF CW and SSB (IO75RT), including a Low-Power entry in the RSGB IOTA Contest using the callsign MM8C.
If possible, the team will also try to activate Conachair summit (SOTA GM/IS-098). QSL MM8C via Owen G4DFI. Note: Dates subject to change / weather dependent.
Iain, MM0TFU/p will be operating on the HF bands from Blackwaterfoot, Isle of Arran (EU-123, IOSA CL01, SCOTIA CS14), from 22-27 July, including the RSGB IOTA Contest. QSL via LoTW (preferred) or direct to home call.
Look for Peter G3PHO, Mike G0NEY, David G8EQD, Krystyna 2E0KSH, John M6JIJ, Steve G0EAK, Sue M6XAK, Peter M0PJO, David M0GDX, David M5DWI and John G4LKD to be active from Arran Island (EU-123) from 23-26 July. Focus will be on the RSGB IOTA Contest using the callsign GM5TO. This is a joint Dxpedition with Sheffield & District Wireless Society, Worksop ARS and the 93 Contest Group for the IOTA Contest 2015. Their location is the Seal Shore campsite, Kildonan (WW Loc. IO75KK. Outside the contest they will be active as GM2AS (Sheffield DX Group). QSL via G3PHO for both callsigns.
The Stirling & District Amateur Radio Society (GM6NX) plans activity as GM9N from Great Cumbrae Island (IOSA CL04, SCOTIA CS17), Clyde Islands (EU-123) from 24th until 27th July, RSGB IOTA Contest included. Operators include Billy GM0OBX, Jonathan MM0OKG, John GM1BSG and Adam MM0KFX. QSL is via GM6NX or LoTW.
Newbury & District Amateur Radio Society members Richard G3ZGC, Ray G4FON, Colin M0DDT, Danny G3XVR, Kevin G6FOP, Steve M0SEL, George 2E0FEC, 2E0MJE, Nick M0OJO and Rob G4LMW will be QRV as G5XV, a Multi-Op/DXpedition entry in the IOTA Contest, from the Isle of Wight (EU-120, QSL via M0OXO and LoTW.
Denby Dale A.R.S. members David M0RIU, Darran G0BWB, Chris G8PUT, Gerald G3SDY, Jim G1MOZ and Barbara M3CGP will be QRV in the RSGB IOTA Contest as a Multi-Op/Island DXpedition entry using the callsign G6LD. They will be operating field day style from Holy Island of Lindisfarne (EU-120, WW Loc. IO95CQ, WAB NU14), 750m from Lindisfarne Castle (CASHOTA G-142, WCA G-00142).
