The licence volume chart shows that Ofcom had not revoked some 15,000 licences identified as Unvalidated back in May 2013. Figures released subsequently confirm that these licences, which have not been validated since 2007, remain Live Licences to this day. Why all the fuss and panic about re valid...

We at GB2CPM Amberley Museum yesterday at about 12:00 local could hear at least three QSO's at the same time on 7.160. Amberley Museum Radio Group has an exhibit using equipment and QSL cards etc set up as the shack of Gerald Marcuse G2NM who was at one stage living local to the museum. He was giving 31 on the air, it was only when I went to log it that I've seen I've worked the call before but had it logged as 30!g4iar wrote:TA30 is the square given in their QRZ page.
