I have a Robin Hood Award from c1970, you needed to work "Robin Hoods" (hams who were born in Newark) plus a number of people who had qualified for the award and were called "Merrymen". John G3OKA

Finally nailed them down after loads of people were saying they have worked them on Mull and in NM65 but it didn't add up! They are at Tobermoray on Mull and the correct square is NM55 and they have not operated from NM65 at any time so the many people who have worked them please correct your logs. ...

Heard that St Kilda will be activated on Wed 13th May. Squares NF09 / NF19 / NA00 and NA10. Two of these are understood to be all time new activations. Info posted in good faith as rcvd on Net on Sunday.

If so when the Net Controller was having a problem copying a Mobile and asked for help no one replied, yet on the run down THREE stations gave the mobile 5 and 7!!!! You know who you are.

And just how are the RSGB going to work out the Counties? We now have Unitary Authorities so I guess that as I am not in a County I won't count for the award. Its bad enough the RSGB using County codes in their contests without them now stacking even more confusion to the scene. Some official source...

New application forms from 5th June, looks like original ones had problems. Notice clarification of payment options, no longer pushing PAYPAL, according to HF Award Manager they will accept any form of payment except Barter.
