Re: Net Control

I have done my fair share of net control in the past including a 12 hour day running 80 and 40m and helping out on 2m when Dave G4CQR & G3DCZ were in Northern Ireland . In those days there was not all the moaning and groaning about doing net control as there is today.

Re: Net Control

Although I agree with two calls and you are off the list, but there are circumstances where this should be waived. Sometimes it has no sooner got to the bottom of the list than it's running from the top again. What chance do you have if you have a long phone call, people at the door, the wife bargin...

EXCHANGE OF REPORTS YET AGAIN

Reports are yet again have fallen into not being confirmed both both ways
Especially when new comers come into the net.
This is happening with not only new members but with more established members.

Exchange of reports again

It has been brought into question about relaying reports, that is somebody asks or says was that So & so and somebody else confirms the report rather than the station that is being worked (I have been just as guilty with this). This is in effect relaying the report and most of the committee Agre...

Exchange of reports

despite being mentioned several times, station reports are not being confirmed both ways
especially when a new station whoi does know the procedure joins the net.
So please make sure your reports are confirmed both ways

Propose to have another look at a possible route down to a point 1.1 miles S of OV. Can't know what state it's in after a year but I plan...
