Points are:-

• 2 points for each Square
• 5 points for each Trig Point
• 5 points for each W.A.B. Member
• 10 points for each Island
• 10 points for each Large Square

For this award a Member can only be claimed once, regardless of how many Book Numbers they hold.

For UK HF:
200 points are required for the basic certificate; endorsements are then available for each additional 200 points up to 1800, after which a new certificate will be issued at the cost of an endorsement.

For Europe HF:
100 points are required for the basic certificate; endorsements are then available for each additional 100 points up to 900, after which a new certificate will be issued at the cost of an endorsement.

For VHF, Outside Europe HF & Data Modes (any band):
50 points are required for the basic certificate; endorsements are then available for each additional 50 points up to 450, after which a new certificate will be issued at the cost of an endorsement.

For Activating:
50 points are required for the basic certificate; endorsements are then available for each additional 50 points up to 450, after which a new certificate will be issued. Awards claimed for activating are not charged. Activators can also claim points for the members that they work during their activations. They may be claimed once only during the award period, irrespective of how many activations they are worked from.

Lower certificates or endorsements must be claimed and paid for, either before or at the same time as a higher stage
