Due to the changeover of awards on 1st January 2009 (which falls within this Winter Award period), this year's Winter Awards will be based on the NGR 10km x 10km Squares and Country only.
Over our
winter period special awards are available. Contacts for these awards must be
made between 1st December and the last day of February the
following year, all during the same winter period. For these Winter Awards, activating
a W.A.B. Square can count the same as working a square.
Claims made on consecutive years
can be endorsed in the same manner as the Decade and Special Event Stations Awards, but they
must be for the same Winter Award.
