Please Note: The WAB 2020 Award has now finished. Please ensure your claims are with the Awards Manager as soon as possible.
The award will run for a 12 month period from 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2020.
Points - UK HF
The following may be worked each month for credit:
- 1 point for each square
- 20 points for each of the W.A.B. club callsigns (Gx4WAB, Gx7WAB)
The following may be worked once during the year for credit:
- 20 points for each "20" square e.g. SK20, TQ20
- 20 points for each Trig point in a "20" square
- 20 points for each Large Square
A certificate will be awarded on reaching 202 points, with endorsements each stage of 202. A trophy will be awarded for each 2020 points. Up to 2020 points, there is a minimum squares element for each stage. There are no additional requirements thereafter.
Points - Others (UK VHF/Data, EU, Outside EU & Activated)
The following may be worked each month for credit:
- 4 points for each square
- 80 points for each of the W.A.B. club callsigns (Gx4WAB, Gx7WAB). Credit will be given to stations working towards an "activated" award for either activating or working these stations whilst engaged in an activation.
The following may be worked once during the year for credit:
- 80 points for each "20" square e.g. SK20, TQ20
- 80 points for each Trig point in a "20" square
- 80 points for each Large Square
To claim a square as activated by yourself for this award, the activation must take place other than at your station's normal fixed location.
Certificates & Trophies
