This Award was introduced just for the period 1st June 1999 to 31st May 2000, and Martin Lynch & Co Ltd provided the sponsorship for it. At the end of the period, a draw was held with prizes of a 2m handheld transceiver and a 6m handheld transceiver donated by Martin Lynch. Members could send any number of entries provided each met the requirements, thus giving them a greater chance of winning the prizes.

Requirements for the award were:
HF - 50 W.A.B. Areas
VHF/UHF - 25 W.A.B. Areas
Europe HF/LF - 40 W.A.B. Areas
Europe VHF/UHF - 15 W.A.B. Areas
Rest Of The World - 50 W.A.B. Areas

The winner of the 2m handheld was Tom Read G-20843, and the winner of the 6m handheld was Frank Howe G3FIJ.
